Social hubs are a place to connect with others, stay active and enjoy social activities.
Our social hub programs help you stay connected with your community. You can get out and about, learn new skills, try new activities and meet new people.
Our hubs are a welcoming place to meet people and enjoy activities together. You can catch up with friends, meet new people and take part in activities in a relaxed setting.
Where available, you can book transport to and from the hub. Your day includes morning tea and lunch. You can also travel with us on our buses for activities and outings.
Who can join our social hub programs?
Our social hub programs are available to older Tasmanians and people living with disability.
Funding may be available through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), Support at Home, and the Home and Community Care program (HACC)
Persons wishing to pay fee for service are welcome.

We have social hubs in New Town and Kingston.

Monday to Friday, 10.00am – 3.00pm

Social Hub program
What activities are available?
We create a new social hub program each month for our New Town and Kingston hubs. The program includes a mix of activities, outings and opportunities to spend time with others.
Some activities bring people from both hubs together. For example, we may visit local attractions, enjoy lunch together or head out for an activity.
What kind of outings do we go on?

- Historical town tours
