We are here to support you to live the life you choose.
Community Based Support (CBS) is an authorised provider of support services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. We have been involved in providing support to NDIS participants around Tasmania since the start of the trial in 2013.
We provide in-home, centre-based and community-based support to people living with disability and people with mental illness to enable you to remain living independently in the community.
We can still help if you are not eligible for the NDIS, follow the link below to learn more.
Getting an NDIS plan can seem hard but there is lots of information to help.
If you don’t have an NDIS plan but think you or your loved one need one, you will need to register with the NDIS.

Why I choose Community Based Support
Temporary Transformation Payments (TTP)
Providers of the NDIS attendant care and community participation supports have access to a higher support price limit through a Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP). The payment is a conditional loading to assist providers with costs associated with transitioning to the NDIS.
Community Based Support is an eligible TTP provider, and will charge support at the published TTP rates. Information regarding the appropriate NDIS TTP rate, is available on the NDIS website https://www.ndis.gov.au/providers/price-guides-and-pricing.
