Community Based Support (CBS) is an independent, not-for-profit community organisation, mainly funded by the Commonwealth and Tasmanian governments.
CBS provides a range of Aged Care services that are delivered both at home, as well as in the community. These services are designed to assist you to remain living independently at home for as long as possible.
As a registered My Aged Care service provider, CBS provides all levels of Home Care Packages as well as a comprehensive range of services under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Veterans Home Care (VHC) to people in their homes, in the community and in centres around Tasmania.
The whole reason for our existence is to assist people to remain living at home, as independently and safely as possible, for as long as a person wishes to do so.
If you would like some help with aged care services in Tasmania, whether that’s assistance with some help at home, community care services, or you would just like a hand to understand what it all means and what could be available to you, simply contact our Aged Care team to talk about how we could support you to live the life you choose.
