The Executive Manager, Risk, Compliance and Quality will report directly to the CEO and be part of a vibrant and focussed Executive team. In this role, you will be responsible for the continued development, implementation and maintenance of the CBS risk, compliance and quality management framework. As a result, you will oversee and maintain CBS’s risk and compliance obligations, standards, services, resources and most importantly industry reputation. Operationally, you will be tasked with identifying gaps and opportunities in compliance and develop clear, concise improvement plans to eliminate potential risks and educate employees on best practices whilst coordinating and integrating compliance / quality systems and processes across the organisation. As part of the Executive team you will also be expected to contribute leadership and guidance in line with the current strategic plan.
The successful candidate will be a strong outcome focussed individual with broad organisational experience, be self-motivated and driven with an ability to think outside the box. Importantly, you will have a minimum five years experience in the management of Risk and Compliance preferably in aged care and disability with a geographically dispersed organisation. Importantly, you must display the ability to partner with managers and other stakeholders across CBS to drive compliance and reduce risk. You will be both collaborative and inclusive in your leadership style with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present and relate to an Executive team one minute and their most recent and least experienced employee the next. You will be analytical by nature and be able to use that skill to balance risk whilst maintaining your ability to be solutions focussed for the organisations key stakeholders, their clients.
