Community Based Support (CBS) is a not for profit, Tasmanian organisation that supports people who are frail aged or have a disability to live the life they choose while living in their home for as long as possible. We dedicate our time to ensuring our clients’ quality of life is enhanced by providing the best quality support services to people to maximise their independence. The support we provide is tailored to individual needs and focuses on finding solutions that best suit the person, just like we do with our own families.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team including management, coordinators, support workers and other medical professionals, this role will support both our aged care and disability services teams to delivery high quality services and therapy for our clients.
You will have experience in occupational therapy assessment and intervention, prescription of equipment and rehabilitation.
With responsibility to provide advice and education to clients, monitor their progress and care, you will need to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders.
Your performance will be measured through your ability to improve care of our clients and their satisfaction of CBS service delivery.
You must have tertiary qualifications and experience as well as current registration of the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
A National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People are prerequisites to employment.
