Community Based Support (CBS) is a not for profit, Tasmanian organisation that supports the aged and those with a disability to live the life they choose while living in their home for as long as possible. The Head of Aged Care will report directly to the CEO and be part of the Executive team. You will oversee the day to day activities and lead the strategic outcomes of the Aged Care Section in an effective and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience and knowledge of the Aged and Community Care sector and whilst clinical and operational knowledge is important, CBS are essentially looking for an individual with relevant leadership and change management exposure. The role will work closely with the CEO and the rest of the Executive team to effectively lead and manage a major portion of the organisation at a time of key change for the sector.
The successful candidate will be a strong client focussed individual with broad organisational experience, be self-motivated and driven with an ability to think outside the box. Importantly, you will have the talent to influence and introduce new ideas and strategies with a proven ability to lead a team at a time of change and adaption. You will be analytical by nature and be able to use that skill to balance risk whilst maintaining your ability to be solutions focussed for the organisations key stakeholders, their clients.
