Community Based Support (CBS) is a not for profit, Tasmanian organisation that supports older people and people living with disability to live independently, exactly the way they choose to.

The role is aimed at providing support services that maximize client independence, social and recreational skills while connecting with the community.

You will be required to contribute to design, planning and implementation of the social support program including the principles of wellness and enablement, and Social Role Valorisation (SRV).

The role will embrace and support ongoing change management processes that adapt to new markets, changing government policy and client requirements.

The role requires excellent communication skills with the ability to positively support and mentor team members. The position is Full Time, Mon-Fri.

A minimum qualification of either Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability Services. A current Full Tasmanian Manual Driver’s License and the successful passing of a national police check and working with vulnerable people checks are essential to this position.

A Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle and previous leadership experience is highly desirable.
