Bus Outings

Bus outings are a great way to keep socially connected in your community.

Community Based Support (CBS) knows that staying socially connected is an important part of life.

Each fortnight CBS offers bus outings departing from New Norfolk.  These outings are available to eligible people who would like to be connected and get out and about in southern Tasmania.

Each fortnight the group decides on where we go and what we do.  We have visited destinations including Huonville, Oatlands, New Norfolk, Dunalley and Margate, stopping to browse at local shops, visiting places of interest in each area or just relaxed with a coffee while taking in the scenery.  We always stop for lunch or afternoon tea.  Again, this is all up to the group.

For more information about this service, please contact our social groups coordinator, Tanya Smith, at CBS on 6208 6600.
