Community Based Support (CBS) is a not for profit, Tasmanian organisation that supports older people and people living with disability to live independently, exactly the way they choose to.

The role is aimed at providing support services that maximize client independence, social and recreational skills while connecting with the community.

You will be required to contribute to implementing the social support program including the principles of wellness and enablement, and Social Role Valorisation (SRV).

You will embrace change and support and encourage clients to participate in appropriate activities in line with goals and activity programs.

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate with colleagues, clients, their families and other professionals is essential in the success of this position.

A minimum qualification of either Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability Services. A current Full Tasmanian Manual Driver’s License and the successful passing of a national police check and working with vulnerable people checks are essential to this position.

We are seeking both part time and full time staff.
